Ms. Nesbit specializes in appellate practice, insurance coverage and bad faith litigation. Ms. Nesbit is a shareholder in the firm.

She received her bachelor's degree in 1983 from Milligan College. She obtained both her Juris Doctor and Masters in Business Administration degrees in 1988 from the University of Florida, and was admitted to the California Bar the same year.

Ms. Nesbit's legal experience includes the handling of complex civil appeals, insurance litigation for insureds and for insurers, and includes commercial general liability and property matters, professional liability/errors and omissions coverage, as well as homeowners and automobile coverage issues. Ms. Nesbit has worked in conjunction with managing partner, Randy Willoughby, to obtain successful results on a number of complex insurance cases, including a recent case in which they obtained a multi-million dollar judgment against an insurer and in favor of a walnut rancher on a mis-delivery claim.

In Ward General Insurance Services, Inc, v. Employers Fire Insurance Co. (2003) 114 Cal.App.4th 548, Ms. Nesbit represented the insurer in a business income coverage dispute in which she prevailed at the Superior Court and Appellate Court levels.

Ms. Nesbit is a member of MENSA (membership in MENSA can be obtained solely by achieving a top-level score on a MENSA-approved I.Q. test). During the course of her career, Ms. Nesbit has participated in various community and legal activities, including the Inns of Court organization, and various volunteer community activities.

Ms. Nesbit's other interests include running, long-distance road biking, and many other outdoor activities. Ms. Nesbit has participated in yoga classes for several years. She is interested in gourmet cooking and is attempting to gain some skills in that area.
