Randall Willoughby and Bradley Bening Selected as Best Lawyers 2012 Lawyers of the Year

Partner Ron Cook Elected 2012 Chair of Santa Clara County Bar Association Insurance Law Section
Partner Ron Cook has been elected by the Santa Clara County Bar Association (SCCBA) to serve as Chair of the 2012 Insurance Law Section effective January 2012. SCCBA sections are substantive law groups designed to assist attorneys in their respective practice areas. Each section offers continued education courses and professional development needs for members while providing networking opportunities for attorneys with other professionals in the same practice. An SCCBA member for 25 years, Mr. Cook also volunteers his time as a settlement Judge Pro Tem and judicial arbitrator.
Brad Bening Honored With "Lifetime Commitment to the Theater" Award
Partner Brad Bening was recently honored with a "Lifetime Commitment to the Theater" award presented by the San Jose Children's Musical Theatre (CMT) at the opening reception of the musical "Starmites". Mr. Bening, a past CMT Board Member, was recognized for his contributions to the theater and active participation on the Board as well as on the stage. The reception also acknowledged all donors and volunteers of CMT.

He has more than 40 years' experience in litigation involving business, insurance, real estate, construction, agra-business, and professional liability disputes. Mr. Willoughby has handled litigation matters in both state and federal courts throughout the state of California.
Mr. Bening has been acknowledged in the area of business litigation for seven consecutive years. He also has an active practice acting as a mediator, special master, and arbitrator, and conducts approximately 75 mediations per year.
Mr. Stuart been selected for an eighth consecutive year in the area of insurance coverage.
